The Crew That Makes The Vision Work
Rhianna Kelly
Office Manager, Surgical Technician
Rhianna Kelly brought her talent and expertise from the human medical field to Animal Eye Clinic in 2018. Combining a brilliant mind, meticulous organizational skills, and an extremely kind heart, she quickly became a cornerstone of our management and clinical teams.
Rhianna originally joined our clinic as a receptionist, but her natural drive and curiosity meant she didn’t stay at the front desk for long. A true self-starter, she immediately took the initiative to master our clinical workflows. Through sheer hard work and a powerful personal drive, she independently pushed through her introductory technician training and rapidly transitioned into an invaluable asset on the medical floor.
Her love for ophthalmology and her deep dedication to our patients inspired her to keep climbing. She has completed advanced continuing education courses in both veterinary ophthalmology and anesthesiology. Demonstrating a lifelong commitment to growth, she is currently balancing her leadership role at the clinic while working toward her bachelor’s degree. Rhianna’s serene, calm demeanor is an incredible gift to our patients, providing a reassuring presence to pets and their owners during stressful visits.
At home, Rhianna’s days are kept bright and busy by her treasured son, a Boxer named Outlaw, and a feisty kitty named Ellie. A quick warning to our clients: hold on tightly to your bulldogs! Rhianna has been known to briefly sneak them away for a few cuddles and selfies before they head home.
Mandie Walke
Practice Manager, Property Manager & Senior Surgical Technician
Mandie’s career in veterinary medicine began during high school while working at an emergency veterinary hospital. It was there that she first met Dr. Paulsen. Later, when she left the emergency hospital to enroll in college as a full-time student, Dr. Paulsen reached out with an exciting opportunity that would change her life forever—asking her to become his very first employee.

Together, they served the DFW Metroplex whole-heartedly from their humble beginnings. At Dr. Paulsen's urging, Mandie briefly stepped away from the clinic from 2000 to 2004 to complete her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Stephen F. Austin State University before returning home to the practice.
Over nearly three decades, Mandie has dedicated countless hours to mastering advanced ophthalmology and anesthesia concepts. With countless hours of Continuing Education in ophthalmology and veterinary anesthesiology, she ensures that cutting-edge, gold-standard care is always at the forefront of Animal Eye Clinic.
